A Feast For the Eyes

Taste involves all the senses. Use appealing signage designed to take your customers to the exotic lands that your coffees come from or evoke an emotional response. Cinnamon, chocolate, blueberries – “show”  the flavors of your coffee with inviting images. Your roaster should be able to provide you with bin tags and POS materials.

Keep It Clean

It doesn’t matter how fresh your coffee beans are if your jars and containers are dusty or smudged. Customers will perceive this as old coffee in dirty jars.

Keep your serving areas clean and free of clutter. Make sure a receptacle is near by for empty sugar packets and stirrers. Make your servers Keep on top of these areas.

Let There Be Light

If you want to push your whole bean sales, get your bins in an area that is highly visible and accessible to your customers. Good signage for available varieties and pricing is crucial.
